Terms of Use
Last updated September 8, 2026
The short version: Town Regular is a community board for local deals, happy hours, and things to do. People post what they've spotted; neighbors vote on it. Nothing here is a verified offer, nobody should post a code that wasn't meant to be shared, and any business can ask us to take down anything about them — [email protected]. Using the site means you agree to what follows.
Town Regular is operated by Town Regular LLC, a limited liability company registered in Ohio (Secretary of State entity 5677889). “We”, “us” and “Town Regular” below mean that company.
Deals are posts, not promises
Everything on Town Regular — every deal, price, time window, and code — was posted by a community member describing something they saw. We don't verify offers, we aren't party to them, and businesses can change or end them without anyone telling us. Before you drive anywhere or count on a discount, check with the business. If a post turns out to be expired, wrong, or made up, the offer it described was never ours to honor. Happy hours and drink specials are listed for readers of legal drinking age; Town Regular doesn't sell or serve anything.
Business names don't mean endorsement
Posts name businesses because that's how you say where a deal is — the way you'd name them to a friend. A business appearing on Town Regular does not mean it sponsors, endorses, or has anything to do with this site, and we don't claim otherwise. We don't use anyone's logo. Accounts that present themselves as an official voice of a business must actually be that business — impersonation is removed. If you run a business and want to work with Town Regular — an official account for your venue, a partnership, anything commercial — email [email protected].
House rules for posting
Post offers the business is telling the public about — the sign in the window, the ad, the code on the homepage or the public mailing. Specifically:
- Never post private or single-use codes. That includes one-time codes issued to you, welcome or referral codes tied to a person, employee discounts, student or military verifications, and internal or test codes. If a code was addressed to someone, it isn't shareable here.
- Don't post codes you're under contract not to share. Influencer and affiliate codes usually come with an agreement that they stay off coupon sites. Yours to honor, not ours to test.
- No scraped or guessed codes. Nothing harvested by bots, pulled from checkout pages, or derived by guessing a pattern. Post what you saw offered, not what a script found.
- Only real offers. Don't invent deals, inflate them, or post ones you know have ended.
- Browse like a person, too. No scraping, crawling or bulk-downloading the board, no bots or scripts posting, voting or hammering our endpoints, and no working around the limits we set. Linking to and sharing anything here is welcome.
- Be a person, once. No impersonating businesses or people, no vote manipulation, no spam, and nothing illegal, harassing, or infringing someone's copyright or trademark.
We remove content that breaks these rules and may suspend accounts that keep breaking them, at our discretion.
Your posts stay yours
You own what you post. By posting it you give Town Regular a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, display, and distribute it as part of running the site — that's the license that lets a deal you share appear in the feed, on the map, and in a link someone sends a friend. You're responsible for what you post being accurate and yours to share. If you send us an idea for the site, we may use it without owing you anything for it.
If your post gets us in trouble
If someone brings a claim against Town Regular because of something you posted or did here — a code you weren't allowed to share, a copyright you didn't hold, a business you impersonated, a rule above you broke — you agree to cover what it costs us to deal with it, including reasonable legal fees. We'll tell you about the claim and let you take part in defending it.
Business owners: one email removes it
If you own or represent a business and want a post about it corrected or gone — a deal that doesn't exist, a code you didn't release, your name in a place you don't want it — email [email protected] with a link to the post and who you are. We act promptly, and removal is our default answer. Copyright notices go to the same address — the next section says what one needs to contain and who is on file to receive it.
Trademark complaints go the same way. If a post uses your name, logo or mark in a way that suggests you sponsor this site or the post, or that confuses people about who is making the offer, tell us which mark, where it appears and why it misleads, and we'll take it down or correct it. We don't use anyone's logo ourselves, and accounts that pose as a business they aren't are removed.
Copyright notices
If a post here copies your work — your text, your photo, anything you hold the copyright to — send a notice under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) to our designated agent and we'll take it down promptly. This is the agent on file with the U.S. Copyright Office:
Site Report ManagerTown Regular LLC6545 Market Ave N Ste 100Canton, OH 44721440-409-6794[email protected]U.S. Copyright Office designated agent registration DMCA-1079959Email is fastest. For us to act on a notice it needs: a link to the post, which work of yours it copies, how to reach you, a statement that you believe in good faith the use isn't authorized by you or by law, a statement under penalty of perjury that you own the work or act for whoever does, and your signature (typed is fine).
If your post was taken down and you believe that was a mistake, send a counter-notice to the same agent: the link, how to reach you, a statement under penalty of perjury that you believe the removal was a mistake or a misidentification, your consent to the jurisdiction of the federal court for your district (or, if you're outside the United States, for the Northern District of Ohio), and your signature. We pass it to whoever complained, and unless they tell us within ten business days that they've gone to court, we may put the post back between ten and fourteen business days after we receive it.
Accounts that infringe copyright repeatedly are closed.
Accounts
You need to be at least 13 to use Town Regular, and one account is enough for anyone. Keep your password to yourself and tell us if your account is compromised. We can suspend or close accounts that break these terms. You can close yours whenever you like from Settings; the Privacy Notice says what goes with it and what stays, under the name “[deleted account]”.
Other people's sites and services
Posts point at businesses and sometimes at their websites; the map and the location search are answered by OpenStreetMap-based providers and Google. Those are theirs, run under their own terms, and we don't control what's on them or vouch for it.
The legal floor
Town Regular is provided as-is and as-available, without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the fullest extent the law allows: we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for anything that happens between you and a business — a deal not honored, a trip wasted, a code refused — and our total liability to you for any claim is capped at $100. Some places don't allow parts of this; there, it applies as far as it can. These terms are governed by the laws of Ohio, USA, and any dispute about them goes to the state or federal courts serving Medina County, Ohio. Talk to us first, though — most problems are a support email away.
Changes
We'll update these terms as the site grows, and this page always holds the current version. If a change matters, we'll say so on the site rather than hope you re-read this page. Continuing to use Town Regular after a change means you accept it.
Where to write: questions and help with your account go to [email protected]; reports about a post or comment, takedown requests and copyright notices go to [email protected]; business matters go to [email protected]. See also the Privacy Notice.
Plain language on purpose. This page is the agreement itself, not legal advice.
